Light creates the design
On a ridged surface, light does not settle: it flows. The ridges light up, the recesses remain in shadow, and the design changes with every movement of the hand or head. This is why Carlita looks best in matte black, where the contrast between relief and recess is most clearly visible, without color interfering.
The design continues on all sides
In every piece, the line continues without interruption: it wraps around the finger, runs along the wrist, coils around the neck, and no matter how you look at it, the design continues.
